Calacatta

Material / Marble

Calacatta marble is of Apuan origin and is extracted in the Carrarese mountains, as well as in Versilia and Garfagnana. It is a fine-grained marble, with a white background and soft veins ranging from light yellow to gray, up to black or purple in some cases.

Calacatta marble is a particularly valuable variant widely used in interior design for the creation of floors and walls, as well as for bathroom furnishings and to give decorative elements such as tables, fireplaces and shower tops.
